Pusher Intakes is a family-owned and operated business based in southeastern Florida. Founded in 2008 by Florida Tech engineering graduate Jacob Allenbaugh, Pusher has grown from a garage project into one of the diesel performance industry’s most trusted names—known for products that deliver both quality and value.
Jacob’s background in mechanical engineering began at a prominent aircraft manufacturer, where he gained hands-on experience with tooling, precision machining, and advanced manufacturing processes. This aerospace foundation - combined with his passion for diesel performance - helped shape Pusher’s reputation for superior design, fitment, and durability.
In 2012, Jacob and his wife, Elizabeth, who specializes in technical marketing and project management, committed to Pusher full-time. What started as a two-person operation has since expanded into a talented team of over 20, all dedicated to the same goal: building products that solve problems, improve performance, and stand the test of time.
Over the years, the Pusher lineup has grown to include more than 150 products, ranging from intake manifolds and charge tubes to complete compound turbo systems - all engineered, tested, and built in the USA. Every part is designed with a singular focus: to provide diesel owners with straightforward, effective upgrades that perform as promised.
But Pusher is about more than just parts. The team takes pride in fostering a positive workplace culture where innovation, craftsmanship, and customer relationships come first. That same commitment extends to the diesel community at large, where Pusher continues to earn respect for transparency, technical support, and real-world results.
At its core, Pusher Intakes is still guided by the same principles that inspired its first product: engineer it right, build it strong, and stand behind it.
