This is the charger we use when the customer meets two of the following three criteria.
1. The truck is a designated tow rig with a power goal from stock to 650HP. It can make more than 650HP when combined with a 57mm or larger primary charger but if you have power goals above that, the S475 is what should be used to keep the charger's RPM in check.
2. The truck has a manual transmission. Manual transmissions keep the engine lower in the RPM's and take longer to shift, both of which hinder boost.
3. The truck is equipped with a 12V Cummins and P7100 injection pump which have fixed injection timing.
Like all chargers that come in our turbo systems, we keep this one looking good by sealing up the cast aluminum compressor housing from dirt and grease with our signature titanium powder coat.
