Works exactly as expected
I got the mega 3.5 inch intercooler piping along with a grid heater delete block for my 1994 12 valve and got it all installed in about 2 hours. Could’ve done it quicker, but I wasn’t in a rush. Everything fit perfect. The only issue I had with installing was my fenders were touching the pipes just barely, so I took some vice grips and bent them in a little to prevent any rubbing! Hauled about 20k lbs a couple days later and my big turbo spooled a little sooner, and it did give me a few extra PSI of boost! The biggest difference was it kept my EGTs way lower going up hills! Not to mention my boost sensor fit in the port perfectly and haven’t had any boost leaks yet. And it looks absolutely gorgeous under the hood now!
