The Pusher 3.5" MEGA Intake System, combined with our 3.5" Passenger Side Intercooler Tube, replaces all three pre- and post-intercooler pipes as well as the stock intake manifold with 3.5" mandrel-bent tubing. This upgrade significantly enhances the flow efficiency of your charge system.
Our 6.7L MEGA Intake Manifold is built around a 3.5" inlet that smoothly transitions to two 3" mandrel bent tubes. The twin tube design nearly doubles the outlet size of the stock manifold while minimizing the impact of the initial section of the number one injector line. Our design also allows for the use of a short bolt in place of the long driver-side flange bolt that passes right through the center of the stock manifold air plenum. This frees up airflow even more while maintaining the stock six bolt pattern for a proper seal. With this vast improvement over the stock manifold, you can expect quicker turbo spool, lower EGTs, and less over all strain on your motor. This manifold also includes instructions, a polished stainless dipstick mount, port plugs, OEM gasket and hardware to make installing this intake extremely easy. Please note: This manifold is for off road use only.
Our 3.5" intercooler tubing is constructed from mandrel-bent, 0.060" thick mild steel, offering a significant upgrade over the factory 2.4" ID plastic piping. The kit includes heavy duty 5-ply silicone couplers and stainless steel T-bolt clamps for an easy installation. Unlike the factory setup, there's no need to cut off steel bands to save the factory boots—simply loosen the factory clamps and replace them with the provided components for a straightforward upgrade.
Intercooler Compatibility
This product is designed to be compatible with the factory intercooler and will also work with aftermarket intercoolers that maintain the same inlet and outlet configurations as the factory setup. If your aftermarket intercooler features different inlet or outlet locations or sizes, please contact us to verify compatibility.
Our system includes everything needed for a seamless installation: the intake manifold, intercooler tube, factory Cummins gaskets and hardware, durable 5-ply silicone couplers, stainless steel T-bolt clamps, port plugs, a stainless dipstick mount, and detailed full-color instructions with photos.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. Why is there a big dent in the manifold?
The dent is for the #1 injector line that passes right over the inlet to the head. All aftermarket intake manifolds for the 6.7L trucks have something like this built in. Due to how much thinner our wall thickness is over competing cast manifolds as well as the unique geometry of our twin tube design, the Pusher 3.5” Mega Intake manifold has the smallest “dent” on the market.
2. Is this manifold EGR compatible?
No, it has no provisions for the EGR valve which mounts to the factory manifold. Subsequently, this system is not emissions compatible, and for off-road use only.
3. Does this manifold have a port for the factory MAP sensor?
Yes, it is relocated to the under side of the manifold for a cleaner look. Once the EGR is shut off that is the only sensor on the manifold that is necessary.
4. Do I need to purchase a throttle valve replacement with this manifold?
No, this manifold replaces the entire stock manifold-throttle valve assembly.
5. Does this manifold come with a new gasket?
Yes, all of our manifolds come with new factory Cummins gaskets, hardware, and any other necessary hardware.
6. Does this manifold work with the stock heater grid and or a heater grid delete?
Yes, the heater grid and the deletes are below the manifold and do not effect it.
7. Does this manifold work with the factory driver-side charge tube?
Yes, it is a direct replacement for the stock manifold.
8. Does this manifold work with dual CP3s?
It works with the vast majority of dual CP3 kits that we’ve seen. We recommend purchasing a “natural finish” manifold so that if any modifications have to be made to it, you won’t be damaging the coating you would have otherwise paid for.
9. Will this manifold fit with dual injection pumps?
This manifold is compatible with most dual pump setups but not all. Unfortunately, some dual pump manufacturers did not account for the need for improved airflow in their designs. If you’d like to confirm compatibility with your setup, please don’t hesitate to give us a call at 772-212-9290.
