The Pusher SMX System is a complete, high-efficiency airflow solution for Duramax platforms built around maximizing volume, reducing restriction, and optimizing the entire air path from intake to engine.

At its foundation is the SuperMax Cold Air Intake, engineered specifically for trucks running an aftermarket “over the alternator” style cold side charge tube. By eliminating the wide sweeps and unnecessary routing of the factory intake, the system delivers a shorter, more direct path to the turbocharger. This reduction in turbulence and restriction improves airflow efficiency, resulting in quicker turbo response, improved fuel economy potential, and lower, more stable exhaust gas temperatures under load.

From there, the system continues to address the remaining bottlenecks in the factory airflow path. The SuperMax Intake System replaces the restrictive two-piece Y-bridge with a one-piece, true “Y” design constructed from 3" mandrel-bent tubing, delivering substantial gains in airflow while shortening the path into the cylinder heads. On the hot side, the Pusher Max 3" Driver-Side Charge Tube eliminates the undersized factory charge piping and problematic coupler design, further increasing flow capacity and efficiency from the turbocharger to the intercooler.

Together, these components create a balanced system that improves airflow at every stage rather than relying on a single upgrade. The result is a more responsive, more efficient, and more capable Duramax under load, towing, or performance use.
