The ultimate bolt on combination to address the air delivery short comings to the Cummins 24v cylinder head in 1998.5-2002 Dodge Ram trucks.

The Pusher 3.5" Mega Intake System with Cross-Air replaces all of your 3” factory post intercooler plumbing and intake manifold with 3.5” mandrel bend tubing, top quality 4-ply silicone couplers and stainless T-clamps. The Cross-Air adapts to an existing port at the rear of the intake plenum that is normally sealed off with a freeze plug style fitting from the factory. By splitting off the driver-side charge tube and creating another parallel path to that port, cylinders 5, and 6 can be better supplied with air. This helps balance the engine temperatures and load at each cylinder greatly. This helps balance the engine temperatures and load greatly. This entire package is fully TIG welded mandrel bent tubing, with a laser cut 1/2" flange and 1/4" dipstick mount. The intake manifold is standard equipped with four 1/8 inch NPT ports on the back for methanol/water injection, a boost gauge, etc.

This is a complete kit that includes instructions, a machined cylinder head adapter, heavy duty 4-ply silicone couplers, stainless T-bolt clamps, a OEM gasket and hardware, and 1/8 inch port plugs for a quality install. For an additional charge, select powdercoating colors are available on this kit. So why the extra .5”?

Switched from Cross-Air to no Cross-Air

Everything mocks up as it should for this system with exception to one flaw on my truck (2001 Dodge Ram) the fuel return lines "t" right in front of and block the freeze plug for the cross-air. Since the "t" connected the return line from the back of the head and the fuel return line from the VP, I could not safely move these. I called Pusher Intakes and they did they best to assist me and eventually helped me exchange to a 3.5" MEGA Intake System without the Cross-Air. There service was impeccable and I would not hesitate to order from them again. Just make sure that your freeze plugs are obstacle free or that you have a good way of relocating them prior to ordering.

3.5 cross air intake

I felt a difference with 75 injections, same with programmer, but the cross air makes the turbo come alive and is the best upgrade I have done
